L’Alföld , en allemand Große Ungarische Tiefebene, en slovaque Veľká dunajská kotlina, en roumain Câmpia Tisei, en serbe Panonska nizija et en croate Velika mađarska nizina, est une plaine partagée entre la partie orientale et méridionale de la Hongrie, le sud de la Slovaquie, l'ouest de la Roumanie, le nord de Croatie et de la Serbie, et le sud-ouest de l'oblast de Transcarpatie en Ukraine. La partie hongroise est de loin la plus vaste, et englobe 60 % de ce pays, d'où son nom de grande plaine hongroise.
