Killester est une petite banlieue résidentielle de Dublin, en Irlande, située au nord de la ville dans les régions postales D03 et D05. C'était le site d'une église et d'un couvent ou monastère il y a des siècles, et par la suite, un petit village s'est développé. En 1922, un lotissement pour les anciens combattants et leurs familles a été établi, et la région s'est ensuite développée avec des logements suburbains. L'église paroissiale locale a hébergé pendant de nombreuses années une relique de Sainte Brigid.
