Le château actuel, le dernier d'une série construit sur le même site depuis 1425. Au cours des 16ème et 17ème siècles, il était un bastion important des O'Briens. Il est principalement meublé d'articles du 15ème et 16ème siècle de la période du 'Grand Comte'. Le bâtiment principal a trois étages qui se composent chacun d'une grande chambre ou hall. Les quatre tours ont chacune six étages. On peut entrer dans le château par un pont-levis menant à la garde principale.
