Dungarvan est une station balnéaire, une ville et un port de la côte sud de la République d'Irlande. Elle est le chef-lieu et centre administratif du comté de Waterford, dans la province du Munster. Son nom signifie « le fort de Garbhan », en référence à saint Garbhan qui y a fondé une église au VIIe siècle.
