Dún Ibhir, signifiant "le fort d'Ibhir" ou "la forteresse d'Ibhir", est un village gaélique sur l'île d'Achill dans le comté de Mayo, en Irlande.
Dooniver est situé sur la côte est de l'île d'Achill. Les villages environnants comprennent Askill, La Vallée : Tóin an tSeanbhaile et Bunnacurry. Le territoire de Dooniver est divisé en plusieurs sous-sections, y compris Bullsmouth, Claddagh, Dooniver, The Brae, Baile na locha, Dionn, Áird Mhór, New Road et Sebastopol. Dooniver possède plusieurs plages, y compris Dooniver strand et Bullsmouth Beach. Juste au large du village se trouve l'île d'Innisbiggle.
