Fanore est un petit village du comté de Clare, sur la côte ouest de l'Irlande. La région a été officiellement classée comme faisant partie du Gaeltacht de l'Ouest Clare, une communauté de langue irlandaise, jusqu'en 1956.
Situé sur la route entre Ballyvaughan et Doolin, Fanore possède une vaste plage de sable et des dunes de sable autour de l'embouchure de la rivière Caher. Il est également reconnu officiellement comme le plus long village d'Europe.: 31
