Pellestrina est une île du nord de l'Italie, formant une barrière entre la lagune vénitienne du sud et la mer Adriatique, située au sud-ouest du Lido.
L'île mesure 11 kilomètres de long et est depuis le XVIIIe siècle bordée sur son côté maritime par de grandes digues. Il y a quatre villages principaux : San Pietro in Volta, Porto Secco, Sant' Antonio di Pellestrina et Pellestrina, connus pour leurs maisons aux couleurs vives.
