Verzuolo est une commune italienne de 6 430 habitants de la province de Cuneo au Piémont ; c'est le pays à la plus basse altitude de la vallée Varaita.
Elle est située à environ 25 kilomètres au nord de Cuneo et à 60 km au sud de Turin.
La présence ancienne est attestée depuis les temps protohistoriques avec des découvertes de pierres gravées datant de l'âge du bronze et à l'époque romaine à Falicetto, où s'éleva le premier bourg à l'époque lombarde.
