Correggio , aussi appelé Corrège en français, est une commune italienne d'environ 26 000 habitants située dans la province de Reggio d'Émilie et dans la région d'Émilie-Romagne.
Correggio se trouve dans la plaine du Pô à une altitude variant de 25 à 43 mètres et à 17 km au nord-est de Reggio nell'Emilia, sur la route nationale SS468 qui, longeant le fleuve Secchia jusqu’au chef-lieu Reggio, traverse la commune de Correggio et bifurque à l’est sur la liaison avec l’autoroute A22 et relie la commune de Carpi .
Correggio est limitrophe de Campagnola Emilia et Rio Saliceto au nord, Carpi et Campogalliano de la province de Modène à l’est, San Martino in Rio et Reggio Emilia au sud, Bagnolo in Piano et Novellara à l’ouest.
