Le temple d'Apollon de Pompéi a été construit entre 331 av. J.-C. et le IIe siècle av. J.-C. Situé au sud-ouest du forum de la ville, il est entouré d'un portique de 48 colonnes.
Ce temple fut englouti par le panache de cendre et de poussière du Vésuve le 24 août de l'an 79 lors de la destruction de Pompéi. Ce n'est qu'en 1829 qu'on retrouve cet édifice.
