La Piazza del Gesù Nuovo est l'une des places les plus importantes, célèbres et l'un des symboles du centre historique de Naples.
La place, qui doit son nom à l'église homonyme ici présente, est positionnée sur la célèbre artère de Spaccanapoli et sa position centrale par rapport au centre historique de la ville la situe non loin d'autres importants sites historiques, tels que la via Toledo, la piazza Dante, la piazza Monteoliveto ou la piazza San Domenico Maggiore.
