Ceci est une partie de la célèbre route de la Mille Miglia. La Mille Miglia (1 000 miles) a débuté en 1927 et allait de Brescia à Rome et retour à Brescia. De nombreux pilotes renommés, tels qu'Alberto Ascari, Stirling Moss et Juan Manuel Fangio, ont conduit leurs Bugatti, Ferrari, Jaguar et Mercedes classiques sur ces sinueuses routes italiennes.
