L'Église Santa Maria delle Grazie à Varallo Sesia, dans la province de Verceil a été édifiée, avec le couvent franciscain, par le père Bernardo Caimi entre 1486 et 1493, lors du début des travaux pour la construction du Mont Sacré. En décembre 1931 le pape Pie XI éleva l'église au titre de Basilique mineure.
