La centrale Ettore Conti de Verampio, l'une des plus anciennes d'Italie, se trouve dans la commune de Crodo à la confluence de la rivière Toce et du torrent Devero et est la première centrale que l'on rencontre en remontant la vallée Antigorio.
Elle a été construite entre 1912 et 1914 par Ettore Conti de Verampio, un entrepreneur milanais qui a été le premier à exploiter l'énergie hydroélectrique dans les vallées Antigorio et Formazza.
