La Via Flaminia ou Voie Flaminienne menait de Rome à Spoletium ou Narni. Cette route militaire fut prolongée à partir de -220 pour atteindre Ariminum en traversant l’Ombrie, sur décision du censeur Caius Flaminius Nepos qui lui laissa son nom.
