En 1655, le pont Peisser, près de l'ancien Albergo Peisser, formait la frontière nord du territoire du prince-évêché de Brixen. Ici, la reine Christine de Suède a été accueillie lors de son voyage à Rome par le prince-évêque Anton Crosini et son cortège. Le pont sur la rivière Isarco et l'auberge existent toujours, même si l'auberge ne fonctionne plus.
