In 1655 vormde de Peisserbrücke nabij de oude Albergo Peisser de noordelijke grens van het grondgebied van het prinsbisdom Brixen. Hier werd koningin Christina van Zweden tijdens haar reis naar Rome verwelkomd door de prins-bisschop Anton Crosini en zijn gevolg. Zowel de brug over de rivier de Isarco als de herberg bestaan nog steeds, hoewel de herberg buiten gebruik is.
