Munshausen est une section de la commune luxembourgeoise de Clervaux située dans le canton de Clervaux.
Munshausen est un village très ancien qui est mentionné pour la première fois en 839 sous le nom de Muniheistati in Arduenna. D'autres noms lui sont donnés en 1404 Monshusen, en 1417 Moinshuis, en 1419 Muynshusen, en 1527 Muentzhusen et en 1598 Muntzhausen.
