Rodenrijs est une station de métro de la ligne E de RandstadRail et du métro de Rotterdam. De plus, les lignes de bus 170 en direction de Zoetermeer, Centrum-West et 173 en direction de la station Lansingerland-Zoetermeer partent d'ici via la ZoRo-busbaan. La station est située à Rodenrijs, sur la Stationsweg.
La station Rodenrijs a été ouverte le 1er octobre 1908 en tant que gare ferroviaire sur la ligne Hofplein. En 1965, le nom a été changé en Berkel et Rodenrijs, après la fermeture de la gare Berkel, située de manière défavorable par rapport à l'urbanisation.
