Le centre des visiteurs se compose de plusieurs bâtiments agréables, reliés par une rue ancienne. Il y a 2 sentiers pédestres, le sentier en planches de 1 km et le sentier de boue de 3,5 km. Depuis le Centre des visiteurs De Wieden, vous pouvez explorer la région. D'avril à octobre, un large choix d'excursions en bateau est disponible.
Pour toutes les possibilités de navigation, consultez www.natuurmonumenten.nl/agenda. Chaque personne de 75 ans ou plus peut, en 2009, participer gratuitement à une excursion en bateau de Natuurmonumenten sur présentation d'une pièce d'identité.
