Le nom le dit, cette pente mesure presque deux kilomètres de long. La route va de Meerssen en direction de Raar et ensuite monte légèrement vers Groot Haasdal. Dans l'itinéraire de Limburgs Mooiste, nous tournons cependant rapidement à gauche à Raar pour descendre par la Visweg vers la magnifique région autour de Waterval. Seule la première partie de la Lange Raarberg est assez raide avec 7%, ensuite elle s'aplatit à environ 4%
