Sur la façade du magnifique Rupelmonde du 18ème siècle, on peut voir des statues de Neptune et de Mercure. Neptune était le dieu de la mer, Mercure le dieu du commerce. Devinez trois fois comment le propriétaire de l'époque gagnait son argent... ! Le petit clocher a été construit en 2012. C'est une reconstruction d'un clocher qui était autrefois là, comme le montre une ancienne illustration. Celle-ci a également servi d'exemple pour reconstruire exactement le même clocher. L'horloge qui y était accrochée prévenait autrefois les habitants et leur personnel lorsque c'était l'heure des repas.
