Le couvent d'Emmaüs a toujours été un couvent accueillant. Des centaines de pèlerins et de marcheurs y ont déjà passé la nuit. Beaucoup de chercheurs de paix y ont également participé à des retraites. C'est un endroit spécial : le programme Vroege Vogels a désigné le lieu comme le plus silencieux des Pays-Bas en 2018. L'intérieur de l'église baroque fait partie des plus beaux des Pays-Bas et le jardin du couvent a été déclaré numéro un du pays en 2019. Le couvent dispose d'une magnifique réfectoire. La chapelle est accessible pendant la journée.
