Le château de Hillenraad est un château d'eau carré, datant à l'origine du 14e siècle, situé au milieu d'un domaine entre Swalmen et Boukoul dans la municipalité de Roermond. Il se compose d'un bâtiment principal entouré de douves avec quatre tours d'angle, une cour avant, quelques bâtiments annexes et un parc château. Le château de Hillenraad est un monument national protégé depuis 1970. L'ensemble du complexe se compose d'une vingtaine d'inscriptions distinctes au registre des monuments nationaux, y compris le bâtiment principal, les bâtiments annexes et plusieurs éléments dans le parc. Le château n'est pas accessible au public.
