Le Musée Fries est un musée dans la ville de Leeuwarden. Le musée possède une riche collection, organise diverses expositions et un programme d'activités riche. Dans le même bâtiment se trouve également le Musée de la Résistance Fries et le cinéma Slieker.
La Grande Exposition Historique de 1877 au Hof du Stadhouder a été un tel succès que le Provincial Friesch Genootschap ter Beoefening van Friesche Geschied-, Oudheid- en Taalkunde a pu occuper l'Eysingahuis sur la rue Konings. Le musée a été inauguré le 13 avril 1881 par le groupe. Dans les premiers jours, il était appelé Le Musée.
