Monument national
Le château Erenstein du 14e siècle est situé dans la vallée d'Anstel et doit son nom au premier résident, le chevalier Adam van Ederen. Il a choisi cet endroit stratégique - sur la route commerciale entre Cologne et Bruges - pour percevoir des péages à la passerelle sur l'Anstelerbeek. Dans le jardin du château, où vous vous promènerez plus loin sur cet itinéraire, se trouve le buste de Gabriël Grupello. Ce célèbre sculpteur flamand a passé les dernières années de sa vie au château et y est décédé en 1730.
