Kazematten Grebbeberg
Ici, sur la pente nord-est de la Grebbeberg, on peut encore trouver quelques vestiges de casemates qui ont été construites pendant la période de mobilisation pour la Seconde Guerre mondiale. La Grebbelinie était, après la ligne de l'IJssel, la ligne à laquelle les Allemands devaient être arrêtés. La Grebbeberg était le point le plus méridional de la Grebbelinie. Pendant trois jours, le 8e Régiment d'Infanterie a tenu bon. Le 12 mai 1940 à 21h00, la mitrailleuse s'est tue dans cette casemate.
