Kazematten Grebbeberg
Hier op de noordoost helling van de Grebbeberg zijn nog enkele restanten van kazematten te vinden die in de mobilisatie tijd voor WOII zijn gebouwd. De Grebbelinie was, de na de IJssellinie de lijn waarop de Duitsers tot staan moesten worden gebracht. De Grebbeberg was het meest zuidelijk gelegen punt van de Grebbelinie. Drie dagen hield het Achtste Regiment Infanterie stand. Op 12 mei 1940 om 21:00u zweeg de mitrailleur in deze kazemat.
