Le Veld du Nord est une zone naturelle composée de forêts, de landes et de prairies de vallées fluviales, gérée par Staatsbosbeheer. La région se situe en Drenthe, à environ 1,5 km au nord-est du village de Peest, mais faisait autrefois partie de la marke de Zeijen. Le Veld du Nord est situé sur un dos de gravier argileux. Environ 100 hectares de cette zone sont des landes.
