Le parc a été aménagé dans les années soixante selon un plan de Cor van Eesteren et Ko Mulder dans le Plan d'Extension Général, mais situé juste à l'extérieur. Il a été nommé en 1959 d'après l'Eendracht, une tourbière à l'ouest de Geuzenveld. Le paysagiste Evert Mos a réalisé le design de l'aménagement.
