La vallée des Rhododendrons dans le parc Amstel est, à la bonne saison de l'année, une perle du vert d'Amsterdam. Dans la vallée, on trouve environ 8 000 rhododendrons de 139 espèces. Pour rendre le jardin intéressant tout au long de l'année, un grand nombre d'autres Ericacaea ont également été plantés.
