Bentwoud est une zone naturelle et de loisirs située entre Zoetermeer, Hazerswoude, Boskoop et Moerkapelle. La zone a été ouverte le 18 juin 2016.
À l'origine, il était prévu de transformer une zone de 1300 ha en forêt avec beaucoup d'espace pour les loisirs. Le plan, qui a été en développement pendant vingt ans, a été affecté par des réductions budgétaires sévères. En 2012, 750 hectares avaient été acquis et seulement 250 hectares avaient été replantés d'arbres. En 2016, cela représentait plus de 800 hectares.
