La tour d'eau à Dongen a été conçue par l'architect Hendrik Sangster et a été construite en 1923. La tour d'eau a une hauteur de 44,76 mètres et dispose d'un réservoir d'eau de 500 m³. L'eau était amenée de la station de pompage d'Oosterhout et stockée dans la tour. De là, elle était ensuite distribuée aux ménages. La tour a été utilisée de 1924 à 1975.
