Dierdonk est un quartier Vinex situé sur le côté nord-est de Helmond. Le hameau de Kruisschot fait également partie du quartier urbain de Dierdonk. La construction de ce quartier a commencé en 1993. Le projet du quartier est spacieux et verdoyant, avec un caractère de village. Les maisons sont construites dans une version néo des styles architecturaux des années 30 du 20ème siècle. Le quartier est divisé en trois parties thématiques : Laanwonen, Waterwonen et Boswonen. Avec l'extension à l'emplacement de l'ancienne manège, le quartier a été achevé en 2009. En 2017, le quartier comptait 5 050 habitants. Au sud de Dierdonk se trouvent les forêts de Bakel et le quartier de Rijpelberg, à l'ouest la déviation du Zuid-Willemsvaart, et au nord du quartier commence le territoire de la commune de Gemert-Bakel.
