La forêt de Hulkestein est une zone naturelle d'environ 1000 hectares dans la commune néerlandaise de Zeewolde. La zone se situe au nord du Nijkerkernauw. Au nord, elle est bordée par la Slingerweg.
La forêt de Hulkestein est une jeune zone boisée, créée après le drainage de Flevoland. Le sol est composé d'argile, de sable et de tourbe. Dans la forêt se trouvent deux entreprises récréatives, l'Eemhof et le parc naturiste Flevo-Natuur. Après le drainage, le cours de l'ancienne rivière Laak est redevenu visible. Le cours original de cette rivière a été restauré et sert maintenant de Laakse Slenk pour fournir de l'eau à la forêt de Hulkestein. Pendant les travaux de fouille, des restes d'une cogge du Moyen Âge et des vestiges d'occupation préhistorique ont été découverts à cet endroit.
