L'église Saint-Lambertus à Veghel est une grande basilique cruciforme à trois nefs de style néogothique. L'église a été conçue par Pierre Cuypers et a été construite entre 1856 et 1862. En 1863, l'église a été consacrée par l'archevêque-métropolitain Joannes Zwijsen, après quoi l'église a été mise en service. L'église constitue un premier point culminant dans la carrière de Cuypers. La paroisse Saint-Lambert de Veghel existait déjà en 1310.
