Village derrière la digue
Le petit Hoofdplaat [d’Oôfploate] est le plus jeune village de Zeeuws-Vlaanderen et se situe à l'embouchure de l'Escaut occidental. Depuis la promenade, vous pouvez vous diriger vers la jetée d'observation. De là, vous avez une vue magnifique sur l'Escaut occidental, très fréquenté par les bateaux.
Observation des phoques
Depuis la digue, vous avez le plus de chances de voir des phoques. Ils reposent généralement sur des bancs de sable entre Nummer Eén et Hoofdplaat. Prenez des jumelles avec vous, juste au cas où !
