Le Tren Urbano est un système de transport en commun rapide automatisé du type métro desservant l'agglomération de San Juan au Porto Rico . Mis en service d'essai le 17 décembre 2004, il comprend une ligne de 17,2 km avec 16 stations.
De 1901 à 1946, San Juan disposait un réseau de tramway de 32 km qui circulait entre San Juan et Santurce. Ce système de tramway électrique transportait à son apogée près de 10 millions de passagers par an.
