Asile Saint-Joseph ( ancien couvent de l'Ordre des Thérésiens ) : L'"Asilo de Inválidos de S. José" était le remplaçant du couvent de Santa Teresa, dissous et confisqué par la célèbre loi libérale de 1834.
Elle fut fondée par l'archevêque Gaspar de Bragança (1758-1789) qui en fit don à Senhorinha de Sant'Ana, ancienne dominicaine. La rénovation commença en 1763 et l'église en question fut consacrée en 1766. Dotée d'une façade sobre, elle était divisée en trois blocs.
L'analyse stylistique des éléments formels du portail et des fenêtres a conduit Robert Smith à attribuer son autorité à André Soares.
