Asyl des Heiligen Josef ( ehemaliges Kloster des Teresianerordens ): Das Invalidenheim von S. José war der Ersatz für das Kloster der Heiligen Teresa, das durch das berühmte liberale Gesetz von 1834 aufgelöst und konfisziert wurde.
Es wurde von Erzbischof Gaspar de Braganza (1758-1789) gegründet, der es der Senhorinha de Sant'Ana, einer ehemaligen Dominikanerin, schenkte. Der Umbau begann im Jahr 1763 und die betreffende Kirche wurde im Jahr 1766 geweiht. Sie hat eine schlichte Fassade und ist in drei Blöcke unterteilt.
Aufgrund der stilistischen Analyse der formalen Elemente des Portals und der Fenster gelangte Robert Smith zu der Schlussfolgerung, dass deren Autorität André Soares zuzuschreiben sei.
