Le Méandre , aujourd'hui appelé officiellement Büyük Menderes en Turquie, est un fleuve d'Asie Mineure se déversant dans la mer Égée.
Le Méandre prend sa source non loin de Celaenae en Phrygie, séparant la Lydie de la Carie, et se jette dans la mer Égée, entre Héraclée et Priène, vis-à-vis de l'île de Samos, Antioche du Méandre, Magnésie du Méandre et Milet.
