Tunceli est une province de Turquie dont la préfecture se trouve dans la ville éponyme de Tunceli. Sa population est majoritairement kurde et alévie.
La région a été, entre 1936 et 1938, le théâtre de l'une des plus importantes révoltes kurdes du XXe siècle, la Révolte de Dersîm.
