Boca Chica Key est une île des Keys, archipel des États-Unis d'Amérique situé dans l'océan Atlantique au sud de la péninsule de Floride. Elle est située dans les Lower Keys et relève administrativement du comté de Monroe.
Boca Chica Key possédait un aéroport Municipal, mais avec le déclenchement de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, en avril 1943, l'armée a pris la relève et a construit trois pistes pavées. Cependant, la Marine a voulu la base pour former des pilotes pour les transporteurs.
