L'université Baylor est une université privée, chrétienne évangélique baptiste, située à Waco aux États-Unis. Elle est affiliée à la Baptist General Convention of Texas et la Southern Baptist Convention.
En 1841, un projet de création d'université est adopté par l'Union Baptist Association à la suite d'une idée du juge et pasteur Robert Emmett Bledsoe Baylor , de James Huckins et du pasteur William Milton Tryon . L'université est officiellement fondée en 1845. Pour l'année 2018-2019, elle comptait 17,217 étudiants.
