Gornji Milanovac est une ville et une municipalité de Serbie, situées dans le district de Moravica. Au recensement de 2011, la ville comptait 24 048 habitants et la municipalité dont elle est le centre 44 438.
Gornji Milanovac est située à 120 km au sud de Belgrade, sur la route européenne E763, entre la ville de Ljig au nord et Čačak au sud, et entre les villages de Majdan au nord et Preljina au sud. Le territoire de la municipalité est très vallonné. La ville est entourée par les monts Maljen , Suvobor et Rajac au nord-ouest et à l'ouest, Rudnik au nord, Ješevac et Vujan au sud.
