Attenant au lycée professionnel Camille Claudel, la Chapelle Saint-Charles appartient à la ville de Soissons. Elle est classée Monument historique depuis le 9 mai 1922, ses boiseries sont classées par décret du 17 novembre 1910. La Chapelle Saint-Charles est le seul vestige du Grand Séminaire (créé à Soissons en 1682) qui nous soit parvenu dans son intégralité architecturale.
