La maison d'Ernest Hemingway se trouve à Key West, dans l'État de Floride, au sud-est des États-Unis. L'écrivain américain a vécu à Key West entre 1927 et 1939. Il emménagea dans cette maison située au 907 Whitehead Street en 1931. Elle fut construire dans le style colonial franco-espagnol en vogue à La Nouvelle-Orléans par Asa Tift en 1851. Elle comprend la première piscine aménagée dans l’île. La demeure était agrémentée des meubles que la deuxième femme d’Hemingway, Pauline, avait achetés en Europe, notamment des antiquités espagnoles du XVIIIe siècle. John Dos Passos vint dans la maison à plusieurs reprises avec sa femme, ainsi que Waldo Peirce avec son épouse et ses enfants.
Hemingway écrivit là de nombreux romans : A Farewell to Arms, For Whom The Bell Tolls, Green Hills of Africa, The Snows of Kilimanjaro, Death in the Afternoon. Il travaillait le matin dans un studio aménagé au second étage.
