Il Museo di Gastein mostra la storia della spa di Bad Gastein nella regione del Salisburgo. Dal 2011, il museo si trova nel Grand Hotel de l’Europe. Il precursore del museo è stata una mostra commemorativa – una esposizione della collezione del direttore curativo Heinrich von Zimburg – del 28 giugno 1936, in cui è stata celebrata la cura del futuro imperatore Federico III. Erano presenti il presidente federale Wilhelm Miklas, il governatore Franz Rehrl e il sindaco Fritz Obrutschka, e lo scrittore Franz Karl Ginzkey ha tenuto il discorso inaugurale. Successivamente, le famiglie di Gastein hanno ampliato la collezione con donazioni e prestiti, trasformandola in un museo. Una parte preziosa del museo è stata una collezione di pitture di celebri maestri antichi, in particolare del pittore di corte Thomas Ender e di Matthäus Loder dell'arciduca Giovanni. Una sezione ha mostrato modelli di bagni. Sono state acquistate minerali di Gastein e una teca ha esposto pezzi commemorativi della miniera d'oro.
