L'ex-convento delle Ursuline si trovava nel "secondo sacco", nell'attuale Sackstraße di Graz, nel primo distretto cittadino di Inner City. Il convento delle Ursuline gestiva una scuola per sole ragazze, motivo per cui l'insediamento religioso fu risparmiato da una dissoluzione durante le riforme giuseppine. Dopo la vendita del complesso edilizio alle Suore Scolastiche di Graz, fu avviata la costruzione del nuovo convento in Leonhardstraße nel secondo distretto di St. Leonhard.
