Era qui in un parcheggio vicino alla Koerselse Heide che nell'estate del 2017 una donna è stata attaccata da un cinghiale: ""Quando sono arrivata al parcheggio dopo aver camminato, c'era un grande cinghiale che ha subito attaccato. Prima che me ne rendessi conto, quell'animale era sopra di me". Era già il terzo attacco di seguito. Curiosamente, gli attacchi avvenivano a persone che venivano a passeggiare o fare jogging nel bosco con il loro cane.
